Job Description

Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the Munster and Ireland

An excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor and gain project experience on buildings projects

Cost Management of one or more projects

Project procurement including issuing tender queries, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program to ensure delivery of project on time and on budget

Preparing monthly project payment applications and cost reports

Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Design Team

Reporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance of individual projects

Requirements

Degree level in Quantity Surveying 

3 + years quantity surveying experience on Civils Projects

Previous projects experience with main contractors on buildings projects desired

Chartered or working towards chartership

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Excellent IT skills

Package

Salary €55- 75K and negotiable dependent on experience
