Mechanical Design Engineer - WWTP

Job Description

Our Client is one of Ireland's leading multi disciplined design consultancies working on a large variety of public and private projects in Ireland and the UK

The Mechanical Engineer will be based in the Dublin office working within he water/wastewater design team.

Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification, in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering

Min 7+years postgraduate experience, primarily in the water/ wastewater sector

Proven experience in the design of MECIA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control & Automation) Works on water / wastewater engineering projects

Experienced in the management of a team of engineers

Proven experience in detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning in large scale wastewater treatment processes and mechanical installations

Experience and knowledge of Conventional Activated Sludge (CAS) and Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR) systems and sludge treatment processes is preferred

Requirements

Salary €60k - €70k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.
