BIM Coordinator - Dublin or Cork

Are you an BIM Coordinator, with 3+ years BIM experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction?

This is a contract position based in Dublin or Cork with hybrid flexibility.

Our client is a leading international engineering consultancy. 

The BIM Coordinator, reporting to the BIM Section Head, will support BIM workflows across our design teams as well as organizing and communicating BIM technical information to our project teams.

The BIM Coordinator must possess the ability to relay these technology solutions to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.

Coordinate technology related activities on projects

Participate in project-based BIM Strategy for projects

Support the production of the project-based BIM Execution Plan

Provide guidance on BIM production support to project teams, including project model setup, file export, model coordination and deliverables

Provide administration duties for Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform.

Run audits regularly on authoring models

Integrate with design & construction and review trade contractor models, shop drawings, reality capture data and adapting design models for construction purposes as necessary

Ensure that milestone models adhere to all internal and client specific standards as outlined in the BIM Execution Plan

Manage the clash process on projects

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years BIM experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction required

Industry BIM Certification is preferred

Experience of ACC administration duties an advantage

Ability to motivate established professionals, external partners, and direct reports

Effective leader: articulate, diplomatic, ethical, and dedicated

Experience with, and passionate about BIM, IPD, Lean, Collaboration

Working knowledge and proficiency with the following:

BIM authoring platforms for facility design and construction (Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Plant3D etc.) or similar

Knowledge of API tools preferred

Design and engineering automation tools like Dynamo

Collaboration and data management solutions like ProjectWise, ACC, Revizto, Navisworks

Bluebeam and other markup and design review tools

BIM-enabled quantity takeoff and BIM-enabled estimating tools

Awareness/ knowledge/ experience in BIM usage in the building life cycle

Experience in BIM model management, workflows in project delivery

Experience providing BIM leadership and technical support to a project team

Package

Hourly contract rates €35- €43 per hour negotiable based on level of experience.

Hybrid working options are available.
